The best man in my wedding is getting married soon,and he didn’t choose me as his best man should I be angry?

Its not like he chose his brother or his father for it. He chose this guy he’s been friends with for 1 year who in my opinion is a jerk!I’ve been friends with him for over 16 years!And to top it off he was kind of ajerk at my wedding,he gave this lame rambling best man toast in which he didnt even mention me or my wife he just went on about how he is the person he is because of the people we hang out with. I forgave him for it but now hes going to pick one of his drinking buddies over me? My wife thinks we should just avoid the wedding altogether.and yes its his right to pick who he wants but still I’m sort of offended.
You have to accept it is his wedding and he can do what he wants. And no one made you chose him and he didn’t ask to be chosen so live with your mistake and hopefully you have learned a little more about your "friend".

I can see how you’d be a bit put out. Having said that, is it possible that since your wedding you have been seeing far less of him than before and he’s drifted into another crowd? Also, if he knows in his heart that he gave a crappy speech at your wedding, maybe he’s scared you would repay the favor.
If you go to the wedding you’ll have to buy a gift.

maybe, just maybe since you have gotten married he is hanging with this other guy a lot more because you are so busy getting settled in your new life. Give him a break—attend the wedding dont be silly.
