Maid of Honor and Best Man Speeches?

When during dinner do the Maid of Honor and best man make their speeches…before eating or during? Also, did your DJ/Band play any music during dinner?
The music is up to you. Most people do have the dj/band play during dinner (just not heavy music, something light).
If you are having more than one course at the wedding, they typically say their speeches right before the main course is served. That way all of your guests have arrived at that point.

Our best man and maid of honor made their toasts before we ate dinner and my husband and did choose music to be played during dinner.

There’s not really an "official" time for the BM and MoH to make their speeches. Simply during the reception. It’s preferred before dinner, that way they don’t have to compete with the food/drinks and the clicking of forks and knives.

Well my wedding was strange we ate first then before we cut the cake we MADE litteraly made our best man make a speech. We also had it out side so everyone was sort of spread out. But my friend who got married after me had music during dinner and the speeches were made after they got there and were sitting down before everyone started dancing
