Is it commonplace to have more than one best man at a wedding?

My brother has been asked by text message to be co-best man at the wedding of his friend. What should he do.
it’s a new thing i’ve been to two weddings now where have have been 2 best men,
it’s really up to your brother if he wants to do it, he;’ll just stand up front and make a speech at dinner, only one of them will sign the register though

Why am I getting treated badly for being the best man?

Everytime IM out with my friend, he is always texting or talking to his fiancee on the phone like 80% of the time. It makes me angry because he says he wants to spend the time with me, but he talks more to his fiancee than me. Im supposed to be his best man in the wedding, but he treats me like the Not Best Man. You know.
What can I say?
I’d rather talk to my fiancee to.
Thats how it is, the person you love, you want to be with. Not some dude who sounds conceded, to me anyways.
